You can enjoy the discounted subscription fee if you sign up within the next 45 days. If you are new to Google Play Music and you are unsure of the service, then you can sign up for a 30 day free trial of the subscription service to test drive the features before deciding to spend your hard earned cash. The free trial can be accessed on the Android and iOS app as well as on the web.

Google Play Music is the only music subscription service that allows you to upload up to 50,000 songs to the cloud and listen to them on any platform. Google Play Music is backed by the company’s excellent machine learning which can curate playlists based on factors such as location, activity and weather. The Google Play Music goes old-school with playlists by making them based on artist, occasion and popularity and language.

Google Play Music has its work cut out in India as it faces tough competition from players like Saavn and Gaana which not only offer free ad-supported streaming but also paid subscription where you can enjoy high quality audio and offline downloads. Currently the minimum cost of Saavn Pro is Rs. 99 per month and Gaana+ comes to around Rs.84 per month in its best offer. Google Play Music has carefully priced its service considering Indian sensibilities but once the 45 day inaugural offer is over we shall know the subscription rates we have to live with.
