What can you not search on Google? The count just decreased with Google introducing a Graphing Calculator to its Search Engine. Throw your Ti-84s away for all you need to do is type the function in the search box and Google will come up with an interactive graph to the corresponding function. Simple functions like sine and cos to complex logarithmic, Google is giving us the geek dream to live.

The graphs are supposed to be interactive, hence features have been added to facilitate that. The graphs can be zoomed in and out and panned across the plane so as to have a better view and understanding with more detail. Not only that, multiple queries can be searched too. This translates to drawing  multiple functions, which are searched by separating them with commas. (Which means it's possible to enter the #-Link-Snipped-# which will result in the Batman Graph!)

For example, when you search for a sin(x) funtion on Google, the first result that will pop up is the sine graph. One can trace the mouse over the sine wave to get the x and y co-ordinates of a particular point on the graph.

Google has included a wide variety of single variable functions which includes trigonometric, exponential, logarithmic functions and their compositions. This will all be available in modern browsers capable of supporting interactive view.

Math nerds, rejoice!
