Google docs appears as G drive on windows machine

im doing a project on building an extented file system where Google docs will appear as G drive on windows machine....
and one of the such solution is : #-Link-Snipped-# ...
i need to build similar solution... but im nt gettin where to start from...& things i need to learn to start with same..
it would be really helpful if someone could give me some directions regarding it...
