Google's research projects are always amazing. With the Google Course Builder now being made available as an open source project, Google has opened up a tad easier way for people to build online teaching courses and make learning on the web more experiment-worthy a task for the global audience. After a successful stint at running the online course about "Power Searching with Google<em>" </em>in July. Though what you find here is just an early snapshot of an approach to online education, early adopter can develop it further from the limited code base available and explore limitless possibilities. Developers with experience in HTML, JavaScript and Python would be glad to know that, Google is soon hosting a community building event for the same and has plans to share its open source vision with edX to discuss open standards and technology sharing for course platforms.

Among the early adopters, we already have - Stanford University, Indiana University, UC San Diego, Saylor.org, LearningByGivingFoundation.org, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), and a group of universities in Spain led by Universia, CRUE, andBanco Santander-Universidades jumping on the prospects of building online courses with Google.
Now, online learning can even go through "the cloud" and if you really want to start experimenting with it right away, Google provides you with the necessary documentation and forums. You also have a chance to talk to the Google team working on the code via Google Hangouts in the days to come. More on this from us will come, as the story builds up!
