Google Authorship Feature - Display Your Avatar In Google Search Beside Blog Articles
Google Authorship is a feature for displaying author information in search results.
This feature is being rolled out gradually and will be implemented algorithmically, so author information will not always display in search results.
If you have a blog, how do you display your photo/profile picture in the search results?
Follow these steps:
Step 1: Create an âAbout Meâ page on your blog and link the about page to your Google Profile page.
While creating the hyperlink to your Google Profile page, do remember to add rel="me" to the link as shown below:
Tick the option that says âThis page is specifically about meâ and save the changes.
That's it.
