Gionee Marathon M5 Plus Comes To India Priced At Rs. 26,999

The official launch is slated to be on Thursday. The device scores high on its long durable battery life which retains 90 percent (4500 mAh) of its original capacity after 600 charging cycles. Marathon M5 Plus will also alert users about apps that drain its battery. Its Fast charging technology is rated to charge from zero to 100 percent in 117 minutes (1 hour 57 minutes).
The dual sim supported device runs on Gionee's Amigo 3.1 OS based Android 5.1 Lollipop. It boasts of a 6-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution Amoled display with a pixel density of 368 ppi.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 CPU clocked at 1.3 GHz and coupled with 3 GB of RAM. There’s a provision for 64 GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via a microSD card up to 128 GB.
It will be available for sale in Polar Gold and Champagne Gold colour variants. It sports a 2.5 D arc symmetrical design along with Gorilla Glass for protection, also coming with a fingerprint sensor at the back for enhanced security.
On camera front M5 Plus has a 13 MP autofocus rear camera, along with a 5 MP resolution on its selfie snapper with fixed focus. Other connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, and USB Type-C.
