General Motors & LG Team Up To Build Future Electric Cars

General Motors and LG have teamed up to build the next generation electric cars. GM is automobile expert while LG is a leader in electric battery supply. The agreement signed between two companies will enable GM to expand the number and types of electric vehicles they build and LG will expand its portfolio as the automotive solutions provider. GM's official said that the consumers will benefit by having access to latest & fuel-saving technology. Engineering teams of LG and General Motor will collaborate on the key components of the car, structure and architecture. The association will develop cars for several countries . The stringent emissions & fuel consumption related regulations around the world including latest US Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) of 54.5 mpg (23.2km/l) by the end of the 2025 model year demand acceleration of pace of technology development.
