GE 2.5-120 Is The First Brilliant Wind Turbine & It's The Most Energy Efficient

GE has introduced the 'brilliant wind turbine' called 2.5-120 and the company says it's the world's most energy efficient. Especially designed for the low wind-speed areas, the 2.5-120 offers 25% efficiency boost and 15% improved power over GE's earlier model, 2.85-103. The turbine is also connected to the GE Industrial Internet which allows the company to predict the power and also avoid outages.

The 2.5-120 has a 120 meter rotor coupled with 58.7 meter blades which allows it to output 2.5 MW at 50/60 Hz. The turbine comes in two tower configurations, 110 meter for IEC environments and 139 meter for DiBT environments.
