The popularity of Raspberry Pi has grown leap and bounds in last few weeks and considering the popularity of this platform, Mojang, has brought a small sized version of their popular Minecraft game to Raspberry Pi. The Minecraft: Pi Edition is similar the Pocket Edition of the game that has been released for iOS and Android platforms. The game is available in multiple languages for free on a dedicated Pi Edition website where they also provide you instructions on how to install and play this game.

After games, for a complete multimedia experience you will be glad to find out that an almost complete media center solution has made its way to this $ 25 PC. Raspbmc has announced that they have finalized the 1.0 version of their software to run the port of #-Link-Snipped-# specifically designed to run on the Raspberry Pi. The stable release is based on the XMBC 12 and supports DTS decoding along with support for various other codecs that are available for purchase on the Raspberry Pi store. This release is also available for free.
