Futuristic Artificial Intelligence Based "Hover Camera" Unveiled

There's yet another good news, from GIMPS 2016 held at Beijing, for all techies out there. A China based start-up named Zero Zero Robotics has recently unveiled their latest “hover camera”, the world’s best AI powered self-flying, user friendly drone system. With the spotlight being cast upon Mr. MQ Wang, the CEO of the company , the team gained an overwhelming response from inquisitive visitors while demonstrating the much hyped auto-follow feature.

When switched on, if a user throws it away, the tiny hover camera drone would simply balance it's own weight on air and keep flying. This happens due to the combined effect imposed by a sonar sensor and a small camera placed below the instrument. The skeleton of the device is based upon carbon fiber, which makes the device light and strong at the same time.

According to the official release, the self-claimed “mad scientists” have fused artificial intelligence inside a PCB that includes a proprietary algorithm to help run the device as smoothly as naturally intelligent flying species. The embedded AI system mimics human sensory organs as far as the detection methodology is concerned. It uses a camera to recognize faces and follows it when directed.

Specifying technical snippets, the front camera placed over the body is labeled as a 13 MP shooter whereas it offers 4K resolution video recording. Additionally, the camera can stabilize the frame by adjusting its position up and down as per requirement and also runs the Electronic Imaging Stabilization technique to minimize noise effects. Other features include panoramic video recording at 90 and 360 degree turning and immediate sharing.

Normally, the hover camera drone can fly at up to 164 feet, but a smartphone supporting application available on Android and iOS can boost it up to touch a higher level. If you can't wait to try it out, you can give a shot as a beta tester by tapping “Join Beta” available on their website. Reportedly, the company will put it up for grabs in the market with a price tag of $600.
