Future Based Energy Production From Bicycle By Using Piezoelectric Crystal
Project Abstract / Summary : Aim of our project is to increase the usage of bicycles to reduce the usage of fuels (Petrol, Diesel, etc.), by introducing some features such as mobile phone charging, head light, etc and to introduce a new technology in energy harvesting for the above features. Electrical energy is produced by using the vibration of seat and pressure induced in the pedal through piezoelectric effect.
Why did you choose to work on this project topic : It will be a new source of energy for future use because now the usage of fuels (Petrol or Diesel) increases the pollution in air and the availability of these fuels may reduce after few years. And bicycle will be a good exercising machine and fulfills the future need.
