The world’s most popular open source browser will be seen in a new avatar soon. It has been declared that the stable version of mozilla Firefox 4 will be released on 22nd March 2011.Main features of the latest version of firefox 4 include:
<ul>
[*]Advanced synchronization makes your customized firefox portable across devices.
[*]Many new opitionsintab organizing and add-ons management
[*]Faster performance with JägerMonkey JavaScript engine which boosts up start-up time and page load speed .
[*]Exclusive HTML5 standards and support for WebM format so that you can watch high definition videos.
[*]Changes JavaScript values to C++ representation so that it can execute complex numeric code efficiently
[*]Multi touch support for Windows 7 and 3D graphics using WebGL
[*]Even faster startup with XPCOM module improvements

Although this browser is packed with latest features, I feel that Google chrome is much faster and lighter. Though chrome doest offer so many features, I am concerned with the speed and not performance. Those who use add-ons extensively will probably find firefox better.
