How do I find my mobile phone with the help of IMEI code that is unique to every mobile gadget? What are the steps to be followed and what's the procedure?

    Do you have it registered Cause other wise I am not sure whether we will be able to track it down accurately in India

    If you want to see your IMEI number of your mobile,then check under the battery of your mobile phone.
    I think the discussion is about locating a phone or a device whose IMEI number is known. The number is usually available on the inside of the gadgets.

    Whenever your mobile gets stolen, contact your cellular operator & request for a blockage of mobile phone services for your lost phone & provide your IMEI. The operators will then add the 15 digit number to the blacklist database. This makes sure that the person who stole your phone cannot use it anymore.

    I agree, Locating the phone is difficult with *only* IMEI number; however phone can be blocked.

    Wait !
    Using IMEI, you can find out what number and network provider is used in the mobile phone, and then with the help of that network operator it is possible to trace the location of that mobile.

    However, that procedure (locating the place) is done using only authorize personals or hackers 😁.
