Final - Linux Steam Client Comes Out Of Beta On Ubuntu, Offers Limited Time Discounts On Popular Tit

Linux users do miss the PC game titles, but since a few months since Steam Client came in to them in its beta version they have something to look forward to. Now after months of testing it has finally come out of beta and is available on the Ubuntu Software Center for download. Both 32 and 64 bit versions can be installed within a few minutes. To celebrate its release Valve is now offering Ubuntu versions of its games for 50 to 75 % off until February 21.

Ubuntu users can engross themselves in as many as 60 games like Half-Life, Counter-Strike and the free to play Team Fortress 2. The games collection is not just limited to Valve titles but also titles from other companies like Amnesia, FTL, Serious Sam 3 and World of Goo.
