I used to be happy with Windows Media Player. Now I'm happy with Jet Audio Basic.

In my case its Real player Gold version, not so much good ,besides giving me live Radio streaming from world's best stations,Song, artist informations...while being online...and the sound quality and easy user to handle makes it 1 from the rest..

Laugh, Mine is my 78 rpm turntable! Nothing like 20s-40s jazz/blues on an old 78 record!

    Try VLC Media player.
I love VLC as a movie and flv player, but I find making mp3 playlists not as user friendly as it should be 😛

For those who wants performance, low memory usage and a minimalist interface, give foobar2000 a try!

    😀

VLC is good for video files.

For audio files, using WMP and iTunes, but since many are suggesting Jet Audio, want to try using it

Windows Media Player rests as my favorite, though with introduction of iTunes, have kinda abandoned WMP.
iTunes is far more flexible with splendid features.
