Facebook Timeline Profile For iPad Coming In January 2012

Facebook Timeline is a new way to tell the world your story with a new type of profile. The new version of Facebook profile works fine on mobile version of Facebook. Even the Android and iPhone app have been updated to reflect the new profiles. However, iPad users are still waiting to get the much awaited app update to show timeline on iPad. Facebook's app update, with the timeline feature was expected to arrive this month; however it looks that the update will be released in January 2012.

9to5mac reports that the update has been delayed because of the bugs. If everything (including Apple's approval) goes well, the app should arrive towards the end of January. Facebook is working on a touch-optimized version of the app that supports timeline on larger iPad display. The new app is expected to be a perfect fusion of the mobile version & iPhone/iPod version of FB. Currently iPad's browser breaks the timeline based profiles of Facebook.

What are your expectations from the upcoming Facebook App for iPad update?
