Facebook App Center Goes Live For Users Across The World; Developers Delighted

In May, #-Link-Snipped-# and until recently was available to users residing in the US. According to a tweet from Facebook PR personnel, this service from Facebook is now available to anyone on Facebook irrespective of their location on web and mobile platforms like iOS and Android.

The App Center contains apps for web and mobile which are divided into many categories and are either free or paid. The users are redirected to respective app stores like Google Play for Android and App store for iOS from where they can download the apps for their mobile devices. The App Center shows the list of apps recommended for you and the ones that your friends have used recently. A “Send To Mobile” feature enables the user to send the link of an application the user is viewing on the PC to their mobile device for later viewing.

According to the analysts, this App Center was supposed to be the big step towards launching a Facebook phone but as we know CEO Zuckerberg has denied any rumors about it.
