As a part of his lecture, he shed some light on the resources present in ISRO and other Indian Space agencies, to back up their designing for future space missions. He confidently declared that India requires state-of-the-art facilities within the country for the space programme to flourish. Supporting the vision of Dr Vikram Sarabhai, father of the Indian space program, India has already built the workforce required to boost the space program, in and outside the space agencies.

As of 20th January, 2016 India has launched 81 satellites since the Aryabhata in 1975 and worked on innumerable space missions in partnership with foreign countries. According to professor Kasturirangan, India has also ventured into space commerce, where our space technology has helped different countries with their Space missions. For further development, India needs to chalk out a specific map for future endeavors. He cordially invited the youth of India to take interest in Indian space missions.
