Anybody with a clear and concise definition of Engine Load?
Engine load, as the name says, is the power which is taken out of the engine by various sub-systems attached to it (say AC, radiator, etc). An engine simply running in mid air is to have no engine load.

Hmm, an engine running mid air is still required to overcome the FMEP. Hence, the throttle has to open a certain % of the maximum. If this is 0% load, then why is 100% load associated with WOT?
