E-Summit 2012 at e-Cell, IIT Bombay, Maharashtra on Jan 28, 2012
The Entrepreneurship Summit 2012 aka E-Summit 2012 is annual flagship event of IIT Bombay conducted by student organization to sustain the entrepreneurial spirit among the youth. The theme of e-summit 2012 is "Changing Mindsets, Creating Leaders". The summit will include expert panel discussions, talks by eminent speakers, networking events, business mentoring by successful entrepreneurs etc. There will also be informal sessions like idea storm, business simulation game, ignite etc. The grand finale will be the event named Eureka - Asia's biggest business plan competition where the startup companies will get a stage to pitch their business ideas to investors and even have an opportunity to get spot funded.

Panel Discussions:
Hear it from the industry Gurus! Discussing on various issues, trends and more…
Speaker Sessions:
Renowned Entrepreneurs will talk on various topics like their journey, how they built the company, their failures, leadership, etc.
International Workshop:
Top corporate trainers from around the world will come down to the campus just for the Summit to train the budding entrepreneurs in various sectors as per the need of the hour like innovation, business modelling, the secrets behind running a successful start-up, etc.
Business Mentoring Hub
The Business Mentoring Hub was envisioned as a hub where partially formed ideas and objectives would be processed and the output would be fully formed plans and strategies. Mentors of each and every sector and field sharpen the ideas and help the participants figure out all the details of their business plans.
The Starup Fair
Start-up showcasing in a whole new avatar! Innovative start-ups from all over India are invited to the summit and their products showcased. Every start-up gets the opportunity to speak about their product and thus providing them with visibility among the wide range of people coming to attend the Summit.
Networking Arena
Team-building has always been one of the biggest objectives of E-Summit. Providing them the space and opportunity to interact with people having different mindsets is what the Networking Arena is all about. Sector-wise arenas which are presided over by CEOs and CFOs of big firms, definitely give participants of the lounge an opportunity of a lifetime to learn about the emerging trends in various sectors as well as network with the speakers and fellow sectors.
Pitch-It!
Pitch It, is the more aggressive form of the conventional investor’s pitch. E-summit has had investor pitches as an integral part of the event. Executive Summaries are invited from start-ups all over India stating their business idea with the aim to bring together investors and entrepreneurs in need of seed fund.
Eureka
Eureka! is the biggest Business Plan Competition in Asia as recognized by Thomson Reuters and CNN and the second largest in the world in terms of participation, prizes and resources. It is intended as a platform to encourage youth from across the globe to flesh out their ideas in business terms and form global enterprises that combine technology, vision and business acumen.
