Ducati 1199 Panigale - The 1200 cc Sports Bike To Be Announced In Nov 2011

Ducati is all ready to launch its new 1200 cc sports bike at the EICMA International Motorcycle Show to be held in Milan in November 2011. This bike will be named as the “Ducati 1199 Panigale”. It will be based on a road going model of frameless design. The bike will be a great gamble for the company because Valentino Rossi, the world’s best rider has declared the bike to be unsuccessful. The weight of this bike would be close to 176 kg and it would produce 195bhp.

This bike is named after Borgo Panigale, an area in the home town Bologna of Ducati, the frame design of the bike will be the same as the original and copyright design structures of Ducati displays. An interesting fact is that the original documents of the design of the bike were displayed around 18 months ago, and this shows that the eagerness, dedication and obligation of Ducati to manufacture this sports bike. In course of time lots of information about the bike has been leaked.





It is in news that the new 1200 cc V - twin superbike has a 112mm bore V – twin engine having a capacity of 195 bhp, which is 15 bhp stronger than the previous version and LED lighting. If all this information is accurate, this bike would have the best power to weight ratio that any other 1000 cc sports bike and would have the least weight, around 19 kg less than the existing models.

This will be a big challenge to the image of a big and flourishing company.
