Damac having won many accolades like the ‘Developer of the Year’ and ‘Best High-Rise Architecture’ has scooped yet another award. It has been voted as the “world’s best†in the ‘Best Mixed-Use Development’ category in the prestigious International Property Awards in London earlier this month. The “Park Towers†situated in Dubai International Financial Centre has won this award, which can be considered as the jewel in the crown of accolades that the company has earned.

The excellent architectural design has paved way for this award. The twin towers are elliptical in shape such there is maximum floor area in the middle floor and the floor area reaches the minimum in the topmost floor. Each floor shape and size is unique. The building is clad in glass. The glass plates in the façade used are triangular in shapes to facilitate the covering of the curved walls. Each triangular plate used is also unique and is of varying sizes. This façade is solar glass panels and is energy reducing. They are designed using complex computer modeling and fabrication.
