Dual-Core Samsung Galaxy S Advance, Targeted At Budget Audience?
The Galaxy series from Samsung continues to grow as the manufacturer added Galaxy S Advance to the series, which may be targeted at budget phone users. The phone clearly seems to be a step-down, in terms of specifications, from other Galaxy phones. Samsung has used the same design and style to keep the Galaxy look of the phone alive.

At the core, Galaxy S Advance uses a dual-core 1.0 GHz processor with 768 MB of RAM. The phone sports a 4.0" Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 800. The device runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), which is quite old now as we have new phones coming with ICS, the latest version of Android. Galaxy S Advance also features a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3 MP front camera for video calling.
Some of the connectivity features includes 14.4 Mbps HSPA connection with support for Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0 and a Wi-Fi connectivity. There will be two variants of the phone, one with a 8 GB and the other with 16 GB internal memory and of course you will be able to add a microSD card up to 32GB.
The light 120g phone has a curved glass design with a dimension of 123.2 x 63.0 x 9.69mm and comes with a 1500mAh battery. The phone will be available, starting this February, in Russia and then will be shipped to other markets of Europe, South Asia, Africa, Middle East, Latin America and China.
