Download Webmatrix from above source and install it using MS Web Platform Installer. It all takes not more than 5 minutes. Once installed, you'll get various options to get started. The options include "My Sites", "Site from Web Gallery", "Site from template" and "Site from folder". The app supports tons of open source web applications including WordPress, Drupal, DotNetNuke and Orchard. The USP of the application is that you get access to all the tools you need for your web development in a unified interface including access to file editors to database management tools.
Once you're done with editing, you can easily publish your website at a click of a button. Microsoft has integrated several hosting options and also integrated them in Webmatrix.
