    It's not risky as long as you are sure about the credentials of the party you are buying from.

    If your dealing is through established secure ways, like paypal or even direct deposit to a particular account or something, it's ok.

    Well it is not risky actually. However adapting to changes take time. Moreover most of the time we do not know if the other party is cheating us online.

    For example: I have heard about Bitcoins Lately. The concept is good but it will take time for people to use this mode of money.
