what about using the technique of hydrogen fuel cell?????????SarathKumar Chandrasekarannice question and a innovative idea but as Ramani sir said, the feasiblity of producing o2 will be a doubt and more expensive. No one ever wanted to spend huge money for the o2 separation alone. But if you come up with a cheap abd best method to separate O2 from air,you can reach great heights and it will becone the best option available for present automobile scenario. All the best for your project.
