Digg v1 Launched With New iOS App, Oodles Of Features Coming Up

Yesterday, Digg shared 'Rethought' Digg previewed ahead of launch with a focus on simplicity - The Verge of what it is changing and rethinking about its platform with its apps for web, iPhone, and mobile web. And today we have an official launch of News and Trending Stories Around the Internet | Digg bringing curated content together from all the interesting websites. After a rigorous re-build of their platform for six weeks, Digg now presents a freshly cooked code and infrastructure. The Digg team had to do away with old features like the Newsbar and Newsrooms and make the front page thrive with editorially driven content instead of being entirely based on the Digg score algorithm.
