What's the difference between a voltage and current source... What is the need for a current source when voltage source itself produce current:sshhh:

A current source is basically used for representing the current controlled devices or constant current devices(BJT) & in applications where the current is the more importnat quantity like in a current transformer where the reactance is varibale so that current outout varies even the voltage across the two ends remains constant!
