    The basic difference between firmware and software is:-
    Frimwares are softwares that are made for a specific hardware like bootstrap program.

    Firmware refers to low level code that is required to make a computer work just incase all other software was deleted off the system and without this you could not reload the computer system. Software on the other hand is the application that is used to load the computer in order to do some commands such as word processing, or Internet browsing among. It is important to note that with the help of software, you can actually add and remove/delete anything of your computer.
