Developers Download Windows 8 RTM 90-Day Trial Edition To Start Building Apps
Much to the happiness of developers, Microsoft has released the Windows 8 Enterprise edition on a 90-day trial for evaluation purposes. So, if you are a developer and felt bad for not being a TechNet or MSDN subscriber or a Microsoft Partner (who by the way got to use Windows 8 final version), you can now start building and testing those Windows 8 apps right away. Available in both - 32-bit and 64-bit versions as ISO images, you get to download the trial in a variety of languages (including Chinese, Italian and Portuguese). In the Enterprise version, you can see all the features of Windows 8 Pro and Windows To Go for running a Windows 8 installation from a USB.

It is important to note that this is an non-upgradeable evaluation edition and will expire after the trial period ends. You might want to consider running it in a virtual environment. Developers can install Visual Studio 2012 and other important tools from the Windows Dev Center's #-Link-Snipped-# and get your hands deep and dirty with the coding of your next Windows 8 app. Head over to #-Link-Snipped-# for getting your copy.
