Project Abstract / Summary : Unmanned aerial vehicle UAVs have gained much popularity in several military and civilian applications performing environmental monitoring agriculture and surveying applications have very specific constraints on power, cost, weight and flight endurance.the paper present's the design of renewable effective energy source for powering a long endurance uavs.this power unit consists of fuel cell stack.a controller and describing the interaction between the two sources of energy during operation of powering the propulsion system and the load are the main objectives of this work.

Why did you choose to work on this project topic : To provide long endurance for UAVs by using renewable energy source.it is reliable.high conversion efficiency because of the fuel cells.by providing long endurance it can travel over a long distance delivery is available.it is used in may military and law enforcement missions.it gained popularity in civilian applications.

Project Highlights : Long endurance design using fuel cells should be supported and it has many applications.therefore researches started developing long endurance uavs which rely on effective sources of energy as their power sources.in addition to high efficiency, long endurance uavs power sources should possess the following properties such as high power and energy densities and fast dynamic response time in changes in power output
