Project Abstract / Summary : Abstract
The title of our project is Mobile fruit picker. The name fruit plucker itself suggests that the basic operation being performed is of plucking the fruits. But the word mobile tells the way of the cutting. The word mobile here means cutting of fruits automatically from the tree itself. And the cutting is done by the help of cutter which is attached to a unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The working of the drone will be completely by the hands of the farmer himself who will handle the working of the drone, the movement of the cutter, the location of the fruit(through the camera at the top of the drone) or the fruit will automatically be detected by the drone itself.

    Introduction
Now a days due to global warming, India receives different kind of rainfall at different places. And due to this farming has become very difficult for the farmers.

And above all of the difficulties if the harvesting is done correctly, then arises the problem of plucking. Plucking of grains or the vegetables can be easy as they are situated on the ground level or the eye level but it becomes very difficult for them to pluck the fruits which are way above the farmers reach. And also if he tries to pluck them by climbing onto the tree there is the risk of accident taking place as he has to climb there and has to decide which fruit has to be plucked as there are both ripen and non ripen fruits.

Present State of art & their Limitations
    Methods available today

    Manually
    Fruit picking Rod
Automated Robots ( are being designed)

    Our objective :-
To develop a low cost plucking machine which will be readily available for the farmers
To lower the human efforts which are required for Fruit plucking & picking as it is very tedious operation.
This will be a development of new machine which will prove to be very helpful in the agricultural sector.

*Patent is filed and project is under construction.

*Concept diagrams (only raw not CAD due to future patent claim by entities having bad intentions ) and development photos are attached but the technical calculations, specifications and different engineering aspects along with original documentation, stimulations will be presented and clarified if selected.

Why did you choose to work on this project topic : To develop a country we need to develop and distribute the technology in the field which will be utilized by major community in that country.
It should not be for earning profits but for giving a ray of hope to the community which are backbones of whole nation and it wont be a hyperbole if I say the world. By encouraging research, design and development in the agricultural sector will not only be making nation but also the world to fight recession and aggression in this hunger fulfilling sector.

Project Highlights : Only development of villages can lead to development of nation. India is a agricultural country and this field contributes 1/3rd of Indian economy. The fact is that the farmers who are feeding us for centuries had always been neglected by every entity. Increasing rates of suicides of farmers are also not hidden from anyone. Lack of labors in the field is also a big problem. So by making the farmers rich not only economically but also by providing some useful, economical, easy to use, compact, efficient and time saving accessories/ machines to make a REAL progress without depending on
anyone is what this project does.
