i faced one problem while making the graph of speed control in dc shunt motor
it is- the speed of motor is variying between 1300 to1600 rpm.
i do not want to make graph from starting with 0to1600 rpm
can i break the scale ?
iam interested in making graph of speed on y axis from 1250to1650 rpm ?

is it possible/ if yes then how?😒

it is generally not advisable to break the scale of graph in such graphs vivek 😀

this comes out of my own experiance. 😳

once i did it and then had to do it all over again

i also faced same situation ,i break scale and have to do that all again
but think if it is very high value and u need a clear information about the graph
then if u don't break scale then the will be very short
then what should be the solution?

don't think about only your college copy as you are doing since childhood ,

if you are programming in MATLAB, the command is ylimit[1300 1600] after the plot command. Normally you should show how the motor speed is varying from the 0 to steady state including transient.

but i even don't get my reply
i want to find it on graph paper not on computer
is there any way or not ?😡
