The router maker D-Link has announced three super-fast routers: AC5300, AC3200 and AC3100. These ultra-high performance models offer speeds of 5.3Gbps, 3.2Gbps and 3.1Gbps using beam-forming technology. All the models belong to the IEEE 802.11ac family that aim to keep you ahead of your neighborhood that's still stuck with the jurassic b/g/n. Apart from the supercool speeds, these routers are designed to scare away the spiders on your walls. D-Link says that the new routers feature a very modern and attractive form factor. All the three models feature gigabit ethernet, an array of high-power antennas and USB 3.0 ports so that you can connect your high-speed storage disks or other accessories. The routers can be controlled using smartphone or a tablet and if your laptop or desktop is not 802.11ac ready; you can opt for DWA-192 USB 3.0 adapter to get the 'ac' class speeds.
Only the AC3200 model will be shipped in this quarter for a retail price of $310. The AC5300 and AC3100 models will be made available in the next quarter. There's no official word about the pricing of these two models yet. The company's released a video of the AC3200 -
