D J Victor or Ponnusamy

I wan't to know which one is a better book - Bridge Engineering by Ponnusamy or Essentials of Bridge Engineering by D J Victor. Can anyone suggest? Or is there a better one than these two?

    Dr Jhonson Victor...would be the 1st choice...then Ponnuswamy.

    If u r a undergraduate than any book will do, but if u want to be a practicing engineer go for book by Dr. V.K.Raina.
