CrazyEngineers is hiring kickass PHP (Zend Framework) developers!

We're looking to hire kickass (we mean it!) developers who eat, slip & poop PHP. While the ideal hire would be someone with at least 4 years of experience, we're willing to give students a chance. We want you to be exceptionally skilled in developing applications using Zend Framework. Since the job involves no hand-holding or training, we'll expect you to know your stuff. If you're still reading this and are interested we have following information for you -

Job Description: You'll be coding some really cool stuff for CrazyEngineers. Enuff said! Details, later.

Skill-set Requirement: PHP, MySQL, Zend, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript. Exposure to xenForo framework would be a huge plus!

Job Type: Part-time until we think you're the one we've been waiting for. We'd make our decision in not more than a month's time. Then full time.

Remuneration / Salary: Part-time engagement will be paid based on mutual consent. For developers who join us full-time will get industry standard salary + benefits you'd want to die for.

Recruitment Procedure:

1. Send your resume to admin [at] crazyengineers [dot] com - It will just tell us who you are. Your academics won't be an elimination criteria. We don't care if you failed in Engineering exams thrice. Also send Links, references to your previous work: This is where things get interesting for you and us. We definitely want to see your previous work. No matter how big or small it is - show it to us. Describe the best of your work.

Typically you shouldn't apply if -
  • You are 'willing to learn' - we aren't going to train you. Sorry!
  • All you've done is read PHP books and never worked on a project on your own.
  • Your programming hasn't gone beyond "Hello World!"
2. If we like your work and are interested in you, you will hear from us. We'll have a phone interview where we'd discuss your projects and know more about them from you.
3. Live Assignment: So far - it's all talk & no action. We'll give you a small project to work on & set a deadline. We'll judge your performance and ability to self-learn & deliver.
4. Part-Time Assignment Begins: We'll then challenge you to work on a part-time assignment. You will be paid for the assignment upon successful delivery of the assignment. If things work out well for you and us all through above, we'll make an offer to you to join us full-time.
If you've questions, ask them below.
