corrosion study scopes for chemical engineer

Hi, Im in my third year of studying chemical engineering, I just wonder if there any scopes of corrosion studies for chemical engineers since I'm having my practical right now on corrosion management plan and by next semester I will be in my final year. Thank you 😕
