Concept Car Jaguar C-X75 To Be Launched Soon

A hybrid car is considered greener than other cars however it is cheaper; hence many do not want to buy it for prestige issue. Well, this notion that ‘hybrid cars are cheaper’ is set to change with Jaguar’s C-X75. The British Car Maker has recently announced to launch an electric hybrid vehicle in market.

Electric/ hybrid vehicles are becoming a fashion now a day. Jaguar seems to tap this market. This electric hybrid is not only superfast but also beautiful. It only shows the capacity of Jaguar to not only be strong but also beautiful. This car employs mixing electric motors and micro-turbines along with hybrid power train that makes it possible to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in even less than 3 seconds, surprised? Yes that’s true. Not only that, it can also achieve 0 to 100 miles per hour speed in less than 6 seconds. The maximum is kept at 200 miles per hour. The power ratio between its IC engine and electric motors is kept 1:1. This electric motor is provided at every axle. Want to drive?  You will have three choices full power Track setting, all electric or hybrid mode.

C-X75 also features a downsized petrol engine that also charges its battery. C-X75 is aerodynamically designed and has considered every engineering aspect. The car body was manufactured with the help and experience of William F1, which also has an excellent experience in various hybrid technologies and carbon composite manufacturing.

This car was actually featured in Paris motor show last year (2010) along with five other cars. The seating arrangement is kept same as shown in Paris motor show. It seems that this car will also be exempt from road tax in United Kingdom because of its low carbon emission. Jaguar C-X75 emits only 99gm/Km. Major role of achieving such a low carbon emission will be of its light-weight carbon fiber body. Now, the price of this is between £700,000 and £900,000 that vary according to taxes incurred by various Governments and its policies.

Even though, it is a hybrid car, what will be mileage offered by it? Well, if one is really going to buy this for £700,000, then who will think of mileage offered? And if you are thinking to buy it then you need to hurry. Jaguar has decided to produce only 250 models. It has been found as a general trend that those automakers that showcase their new models in such shows do not launch their automobiles in European markets and those who launch well, they only want to show their model to European market.

Once this car is launched, it will offer a tough competition to existing #-Link-Snipped-# and upcoming #-Link-Snipped-# and #-Link-Snipped-#. Well now everything mentioned regarding C-X75 are technical details, but do you know that C-X75 is not the actual name of it? Shocking, isn’t it? Actually Jaguar C-X75 is only a working name. Company is thinking on a few names and a more appropriate name will be chosen earlier to launch. So, let us keep our fingers crossed. Like the car, the name is also going to be very astounding.
