my question is not related to the server speed it is related to the type of data transfer used in it... even if the server is slow the chatting takes place continuously but emails are not instant..Are you sure? This action cannot be undone. -

There is no difference. Chat messages do get delayed and get delivered to the inbox. Within a given mail server email gets delivered fast between servers there can be small delays.
Please create a second test ID for yourself, send a test message to your other ID and check how fast you get it delivered. Are you sure? This action cannot be undone. -
