Cocorobo Vacuum Cleaner Will Speak To You While Beautifying Your Room

Here we have a vacuum cleaning robot nicknamed 'Cocorobo' developed by Sharp that uses Artificial Intelligence technology through its inbuilt Cocoro Engine. Cocorobo will work like a pet robot and reply to your greetings using it's speech recognition engine. Now, housewives would never feel alone back at home, because they can become up, close and personal with this robot. The choice of inputs to Cocorobo are voice-control or buttons over it or through the remote control. The sharp team says that if users speak to this robot daily it will feel good and depending on how it feels, it will vary its words and movements. So, you should not choose to use swear words before Cocorobo, because then it may not choose to work at all.



Well coming to the specs, Cocorobo has a 1.3-megapixel camera, an LED light, and wireless LAN connectivity. You can use your Android or iOS powered smartphones to control it remotely. Even if you set it to automatic mode and let it decide its work, you can always supervise it by watching the streaming video. Sharp's power vacuum system leaves your room spick-and-span. It has the side brushes that sweep up dirt and rotating brush to collect it. Finally, it sucks it in with a turbo fan running at 14,000 rpm.

The three ultrasound sensors built in the cleaner prevents it from bumping on to obstacles. Cocorobo has iron phosphate lithium batteries having a life of approximately three years or 1,200 charges. The release date is set in early June and is planned to hit the stores in two versions. The full featured version called the RX-V100 will be priced around US$ 1,600, while the basic version sans a camera, the RX-V80, will be around US $1,100.
