    Take a pair of IR sensors. Hook it up in HT12E & HT12D IC's at transmitter & receiver respectively.

    You'll be able to switch on/off via remote control. HT12 series IC's support 4 bit data to be sent, hence you can control 16 devices.

    go for a simple UM66 circuit or COB ic circuit for electric bell..
    just google it you will get the easiest circuitary for the same..
