Celkon Millennia 2GB Xpress Specs, Features, Price & More

Based out of Hyderabad, Celkon is said to be India's sixth-largest mobile handsets company. It's latest smartphone priced at Rs. 6222 is called Celkon Millennia 2GB Xpress. The phone is set to compete with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Moto E. The biggest USP of the phone is its memory, which is evident from its name to be 2GB. This feature is rarely seen in the smartphone in the mid-budget price range. The one thing that you will find disappointing about the Millennia 2GB Xpress is its 4.5 inch screen's display resolution which is set at 480 x 800 pixels. At 134 g, the phone looks pretty lightweight, but the 10.1 mm thickness might be a turn off for some.

On the software front, there's Android OS 4.4.2 KitKat OS running out of the box with no mention of Lollipop upgrade on the official site. Powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor, the phone comes with 16GB internal memory and microSD card support up to 32GB. A 1500 mAh Li-Pol battery provides the Millennia phone with its daily dose of energy.

On the smartphone's rear end, we find a 5 megapixel camera with Flash and a 1.3 megapixel snapper on the front. The cameras support video recording. Connectivity is catered to using WiFi, MicroUSB, Bluetooth and WiFi Hotspot support.

The Celkon Millennia 2GB Xpress is a Dual SIM phone with support for WCDMA 3G and GSM 2G network support. Among the sensors, the company has noted that the Gravity sensor is present in the device.

At present, the 'Buy Now' link on the Celkon Mobiles website takes us nowhere. So, we are expecting that the smartphone will go on sale in the next few weeks.
