Lets have our first meet in a closed indoor place, where we can talk and chat, have some food, go for a play, etc. and the next meet can be in an amusement park or something. What say?

    Guyes - here's a suggestion on deciding the place. Opt for a place where there's no noise. Coffee joints usually have loud music playing; which makes it a no go. Opt for a decent restaurant or like in our B'lore meet, an open place (a la garden), if possible 😀

    the implementation had a lot of breaks i would say there was no common point (person) to whom we could all communicate when we all gathered there

    second there was a schedule for a bunch of virtual friends to meet but no one knows each other in real time that always creates problems when we meet

    oh my god ...lot of things happened over here. I planned myself thinking that sep 16 was our meet and in anna nagar tower park....so on.since its time for placements in many of the colleges students are busy(to my knowledge)...so praveen i feel its better to fix the same spot for the postponed meet to avoid confusion..and coming to date what say october 3rd sunday i.e..oct 21 and provide a outline of things what we do in meet so that it will be clear for new comers..what say guys?

    I saw some mention of Anna Nagar Tower Park.
    Memories flood back. I had climbed that tower in the raw unfinished state, but full height in 1967 or 68. As an amateur astronomer I was thrilled to spot the elusive planet mercury from the top. The only time I ever saw it.
    The place used to be called Aminjikarai (corrupted form of Amaindha karai) just as the Poonamalee High was corrupted from Poovirunadavalli High road.
