i got into wimc,noida.i saw the course and its very good.but i want to know if the faculty would go into details of every language mentioned there,as i am from electronics background i m only familiar with C and all other would be new for me unlike computer science students and if they dont then i think i wont be able to understand and it will create problem at last.

I could've easily got Sunbeam, but later when I analyzed the course contents of DIVES and VLSI, the content was near about same, but the teaching time was extremely stripped off in DIVES. This just shivered my decision about DIVES and I've just added C-DAC Pune for VLSI, which I didn't got... LOL..😔

I had a feeling like in an attempt to teach both of the courses in one, they will not be able to teach either of them properly, so its better to study them separately instead. Besides VLSI & Embedded doesn't exactly have any relation or concept common between them so that they can be taught together.

If u analyse Embedded and VLSI sections of DiVESD seperately,ull notice that most of it is embedded.So,according to me,for anyone interested in embedded but couldnot get DESD,DiVESD is a better option.
For those who have doubts regarding faculty at Sunbeam..I have asked a few seniors and they said teaching is good.

No friend, the embedded & VLSI are both there in almost equal proportion. If you calculate the module teaching time of both, it comes out to be 310 hours for VLSI and 388 hours for Embedded. I've counted only 20 hours in Programming fundamental referring to original plain VLSI.

Likewise, 6 modules are for Embedded and 7 are of VLSI, actually 8 if you consider programming fundamentals.

Its pretty unfortunate for me that when I was yet to fill up the preference, I was only hearing bad things about every other institute for C-DAC except Pune. Its after the first round that people suddenly started to praise sunbeam, but it was too late then otherwise I would've surely taken the Sunbeam.

Its good institute. I mean, don't have any personal recommendations but people are quite praising it. Besides, the placement is centralized with C-DAC Pune so it should be good.

Haha, things are pretty different. Now I am not doing the course anywhere. I thought sunbeam is not good and that's why I didn't entered it in my preference list and what I've entered didn't let me get in.

There's no embedded in Mumbai(Juhu).Mumbai(juhu) has only one course i.e WIRELESS...............

As per your preference list, i think you have good chances of getting admission at CDAC, pune and rest all too. As far as the best possibility for DAC then I would suggest VITA, juhu from where I completed my PG-DAC course in feb 2013. The training here is the best ( as many of my friends have done CDAC from all other centers, so comparatively ). All my batch mates got placed. I think this was possible because of the excellent faculty, and lots of Aptitude training and mock interviews. This is what i can suggest u 😀
