Hey, I got Rank 208 in A + B + C. Above my rank 114 candidates have applied for PG-DIVESD. Will I get Sunbeam, Pune? And Sunbeam is the only center in Pune where DIVESD course is included. So only 60 seats to choose from.
Please help out guys.

I am not sure about the placement of DASS since Bengaluru is the hub of automation, you can expect a better placement.
BYW I have already registered a query regarding the placement of DASS in CDAC and they havn't replied yet and I also called them but they havn't told anything.

cdac pune->bangalore knowledge park->sunbeam pune->cdac juhu mumbai/cdac noida/mnnit allahabad->vimarshana

1st three options are extremely difficult but , you can try your luck,, juhu and noida , you may have chance of getting

can anybody tell me about PG-DGI....placement review...and its scope

Hello! My Rank in CCAT (A+B) is 2870 😭 &

2533 candidates above me have applied for PG-DAC.
1037 candidates above me have applied for PG-DSSD.

I know I've very little (or no) chances for PG-DAC Course in any of CDAC's 10 Main Centres, but want to Lock the Centre Preference to try luck out.

I am not really interested in PG-DSSD, but can opt it if did't get any Main CDAC Centre (+ Sunbeam, Pune) for PG-DAC.

So my Centre Preference goes like this :

PG-DAC at CDAC, Pune
PG-DAC at CDAC, Bangalore (Knoweldge Park)
PG-DAC at SunBeam, Pune
PG-DAC at CDAC, Hyderabad
PG-DAC at CDAC, Mumbai
PG-DAC at CDAC, Chennai

PG-DAC at CDAC, Noida

Please tell me if my Assertions are wrong regarding:

Center Preference Filling.
Keeping PG-DSSD below all PG-DAC. (As my PG-DSSD Rank quite good with respect to PG-DAC.)
Should i fill my List with CDAC affiliated/extended Centres too???
Any other important aspect.

Hey, I got Rank 208 in A + B + C. Above my rank 114 candidates have applied for PG-DIVESD. Will I get Sunbeam, Pune? And Sunbeam is the only center in Pune where DIVESD course is included. So only 60 seats. Will i get it?
Please help out guys.

Dac in pune and bangalore is tough but not impossible ,desd, dass , dgi and dhi u will get it. desd is the best among four.even dssd is good, u might get in bangalore

desd has good placements .Combined seats for desd in pune,hyd,bang 120+60+90=270 ders good chance of shifting up in pref list in 2nd round as many hav applied for more than one course ...

My rank is 29 in DESD.

cdac pune and cdac hyd both are best for desd.
I am not able to decide about the option but I 'll go with CDAC pune due to better placement there.

As you are Cs student you should opt for DAC and you might get a seat in Bengaluru...

for bangalore , if you want knowledge park is best(it is comparable),, though for your rank you should try for acts pune

if you want bangalore , go for knowledge park (it is comparable to acts pune)

"C-DAC's CCPP are conducted in August and February at Bengaluru,
Hyderabad, Mumbai, Noida and Pune. All the C-DAC training centres actively coordinate the task of organising the campus interviews for all their PG Diploma students. About 200 companies participated in the CCPP of February 2013. "
Someone had mentioned in ccat2012 threads that placements are centralized ...

2. CDAC ACTS Bangalore :

3. Third choice will be CDAC,Hyderabad.

Frequently Asked Questions for Campus Placement

How many Companies visited the campus during Campus Placements?

More than 100 companies visit C-DAC campus all over the country in each Campus Placement Programme.

What is the help extended to the students for placements?

Placement support is provided to the students for all the courses through centralized National level Common Campus Placement Programme (CCPP). The CCPP is spread over a month, wherein students from all courses across India participate. We try to attract maximum companies to the campus to provide job opportunities to the students. While the entire process is governed by the student’s ability and performance, as well as the requirements and norms of the IT Industry, C-DAC and its centres take no credit for the placement of our students. We only catalyze the process and assist the students in their placements.

When does the Placement Activity begin?

After all the modules of course are over, the Placement Week commences. Every year, the placement activity starts tentatively in the first/second week of February and August.

Not all the organizations have criteria. Companies shortlist a candidate on various parameters, including the scores in C-DAC course.

Yes, to a certain extent. Students having good scores in academics and C-DAC course, stand a better chance to get shortlisted for top companies.

So I guess I will get DAC at Pune ACTS and DESD at Hyderabad.

I am an Electrical Engineer and already have a job in hand at Cognizant.
I am interested more in computers and embedded systems than in Electrical.

Should I join DAC or DESD? or should I go for Cognizant?

bro go to congni because plz dont be so sure on campus placement

i think cdac acts banglore would be good as we know banglore is s/w hub city so u would get copius amount of opportunty

do you have any idea about Noida DESD,as it is nearest to my place.

More over i heard that cdac have centralized placement.Is it true?

Actually some of my mates said that this yr noida had better placement than pune...but I am not sure about that...
CDAC Noida is only 10 kms from my home and I was thinking of that option too but not now.

yea that's the biggest flaw i have done so far . . . but if i had chosen CDAC ACTS center better than Noida ... would i have considered for those centers according to my rank ... ? but now i'm not even sure, could i be able to get Noida ... totally confused...

criteria of placement matters upto certain extent...
As you said you are interested in languages,first you should check the modules for the courses from the <a href="https://cdac.in/index.aspx?id=pgdiploma" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Post Graduate Diploma</a>
