I have read different answers for official training duration(theory + practical) per day. Some say 8 hours, some say 10 hours, and others say 12 hours 😕. I am thinking about opting for DBDA in CDAC Pune. Any idea about training duration per day ? Also, is there major difference between placements from Pune region and Bengluru region in Data Science field😒?

Congratulations for getting a good rank. While I'm not very sure about which center would be the best, I'd recommend you to look for Mumbai and Pune centres. My choice would go to Mumbai center.

There won't be HUGE difference, but from what I've heard from several candidates is that most of the companies, especially in the startup scene have been recruiting from Bengaluru centers because of its proximity to their HQs. PRE-DAC is not an exam. It is a preparation course offered in various private institutes such as Sunbeam, IACSD. For taking admission in CDAC, you have to appear for C-CAT. It has 3 sections. A contains aptitude, english and logical reasoning. B contains all software related questions and C has all microprocessor related questions. Refer the admission booklet for details and reference books. Good luck.

Pre-dac is coaching. I think you mean CCAT exam.

(Recommended)prepare "subjectively" according to the syllabus. Grab all concepts. That way whatever you learn, you can carry forward in CDAC centre.

Else, refer online tutorials and MCQs. They talk about important points only.

Or you can follow a tutorial first and then refer book, to read in depth about important topics.

Prepare C well. 15-16 questions were from C in last exam.

That is just a PHP training course and not a part of CDAC courses. Some private institutes provide training in other technologies but it is not a CDAC PG-Diploma. i got sunbeam karad....

Both are equal in terms of faculty and facilities available. However, if you opt for karad, you will have to shift to Pune while placements as karad comes under Pune region for CCPP. If you can manage that then go for it.

No. You cannot change your allocation after paying for first round. You can however withdraw your admission and you will get fee refund according to CDAC policies. The only way you can change center after paying for allocated seat is if you have some serious medical issues and need a center close to home.

If you want to take admission in Karad, you should pay the first installment. This will confirm your admission to allocated center and you won't be able to participate in the subsequent rounds. If you wish to go for the next round, don't pay the fee and you will be given a high preference seat (If any). If you sit for next rounds, you probably won't lose your current seat unless you get a seat of higher preference. If the allocated center was your first preference, you have to take it because you cannot participate in next rounds.

If you want to participate in second round you must pay first installment fees. . . Otherwise you won't be considered for next round . You may get your higher preference in second round . I have read this in cdac admission booklet , if you have any doubts, you can go through it.

IACSD is good for DAC and has good number of placements. At your rank, ACTS, sunbeam and CDAC KP may be difficult but you may get e-city bangalore.

You will be considered for second round if you pay the first installment. Considering not all the candidates above you will pay the installments, some seats will be free in second round. I know a guy who got IACSD at rank 1700. So there are chances that you may get IACSD in second round. Both IACSD and Sunbeam Karad are good for DAC so even if you don't get IACSD in second round, sunbeam is equally good to go for.

whats ur rank and pref....
u should wait for 2nd round coz there is sm chances of promotion.... as we talk about noida ...its not that gud...not that bad.... partiality h vha at the time of placement... aisa maine suna h bahot logo se or m galat bhi ho skta hu....make a gud choice. and worry not if u work hard in upcoming 6 months then u will get placed for sure

see... pune has common campus placement... every clg in pune invited to participate into it...if u work hard then opportunities are great...as per know it is concern ...i heard its an avg institute...not that gud and not that bad...its depend on you..technical+APTITUDE+communication and nobody can stop you getting nice job... and in the end... as u asked chances of promotion in 2nd round... well chances are slim but not null... but to participate in 2nd round .u hv to submit 11800 rs... 9k can be refundable from that amount... make a gud choice... best of luck

There are some chances that you may get sunbeam karad in second round. Know-It is a below average institute. Faculties are not so good there. If I was in your shoes, Know-It would be my last preference for DAC in Pune. I have heard too many bad reviews about it.

The places near the center are WAY overpriced due to high demand and not maintained. Also, Pune center is located in a relatively remote location (Panchavati), so there's NOTHING near the center as far as snacking and other basic things go. I am looking for a flat in Aundh area, which is nearby. So anybody from outstation looking for accommodation in Pune please contact me, we can look for something more practical that best fits our requirement and comfort. Congratulations first of all.
Sunbeam karad is a good center and most of the faculties come from Sunbeam Pune. It is equivalent to IACSD. However, the only problem is that you have to shift to pune for placements. If you can manage that, Sunbeam karad is a very good center.

If you wish to participate i third round, you will have to withdraw your admission in which you will only get 9000 as refund and again pay 10000+tax to fill option form of third round. But you won't get any good centers in third round because students who get seat in good center don't withdraw their admission and almost no seats are there for third round from good institutes. So I wouldn't recommend going for third round.

Yes.
Iacsd is better than sunbeam karad but only by a small margin. They have good faculties for Java and .Net. I have read good reviews about it. Karad students have to shift to pune for placements as it is 150km away from pune. Karad also has very good faculty.

Yup. Totally worth doing PG-DAC in IACSD. You don't have to prepare anything. If you want, you can study about c programming. This way, you will understand the c++ module quicker. And try to find accomodation near the center as the timing can stretch up to 11PM. Iacsd has the most hectic schedule.

Try for IACSD, Vita Mumbai, CDAC Kharghar. Cut off for Sunbeam Pune is around 800.

Try for ACTS Pune. There may be chances. Your second option should be Sunbeam Pune. You will definitely get sunbeam Pune.
