Here is my Rank for Section (A+B) 1516

Well, it will be worth knowing that I am a Mechanical engineer at this point of my life and willing to switch to computer science. So I don't have as much friends from this field and this forum is only my support for now. I have heard that companies coming for placement have got different eligibility criteria. So do I fit in well? and How many companies might give me opportunity to work with them.

With counselling process here is my saved preference. And is completely vulnerable of changes until 4th of January.

Am I correct to think that:
1. I should fill CDAC Bengaluru as my 2nd choice because it is good to lessen the competition and have an upper hand.
2. Companies visit main placement centers rather then the training centers so every candidate have equal opportunity and have to move closer to the center.
3. In Pune, it will not affect to have any center for the diploma in hand, coz eventually you will have the same opportunity for campuses, irrespective of your training centers.

I am not willing to move out of Pune but wondering how can Bangalore help.

Can anybody please arrange the above centers from best to worst in terms of:
1. Teaching
2. Campus and placement
3. Study environment
4. Ambitious or moderate or safe at my rank

(Please rank sequentially (1,2,3,4) for each)
CDAC Pune
Sunbeam Karad
Sunbeam Pune
IACSD Pune
CDAC Bengaluru (KP)

Dear ur rank is low.. but dont be stick to pune .. see centers in north and others places also.. In North Noida is good.. there placement percentage is around more than 85 per for last 2 batches and Mumbai is another good option..

fro DESD noida is also good option.. more than 90 per placement for last batch there in desd

Dude you are dreaming... CDAC Noida is very bad both in placements and faculty... noida cdac is always at the last priority among cdac aspirants.. Do not compare cdac pune with noida

I got this email from CDAC today :

Please note that in order to take admission at C-DAC, the first installment fees must be paid by you, even if your current allocated seat is not your top preference. If you do not pay the first instalment fees by 5pm on 15th January 2018, you will not be considered for the second round of seat allocation and therefore you may not be able to take admission at C-DAC using your ranks of December 2017 C-CAT. C-DAC's PG Diploma classes will begin on 20 February 2018. Wishing you all the best, C-DAC Admissions Team

Hello everyone!
My rank is 1794 (a+b)

My choice of institutes are Sunbeam, ACTS, and Knowledge park.

In first round I have got Sunbeam DMC

But I would prefer DBDA which just above DMC in my choice sequence.

Should I try for second round?

And my other doubt is.. what if I go for second round, will my first counselling seat of DMC still exist in case I don't get any upgrade?

I have this doubt with second counselling. Is it like risking my current seat? And what are the chances of upgrade? Will I be able to set new choice sequence.

Someone please clear my doubts. I will be grateful to you 😀

Hi Ma'am,
My rank for for A is 1040 and for A+B is 1817. I want to pursue PG-DAC. Here is my preference:
1. CDAC, Pune
2. Sunbeam, Pune
3. Knowledge Park, Bangalore
4. IACSD, Pune
5. E-City, Bangalore
In the first round of counselling, I have got E-city Bangalore. Can I get IACSD in the second round or the second counselling(third round)..??
Kindly suggest.

What will be the cutoff for IACSD, Pune for Feb 2018?

I got diot Pune and I want to ask If I should go for it or take the cdac 2 . I am having a job with 2.8 lpa and I am confused if I should leave my job and go for the iot course. Please to help me and share any information if you have about Pg -diot Pune. Do they have placements ?

Hi,
i have completed my B tech in 2013 from IT. i have no experience till date. i got pg-dac at knowledge park. i just want to know what are the chances after completion of this course. should i do this.
Actully, one of my frnd told that its of no use in my case as the gap after B tech is too much. pls suggest.

IACSD will have cut off of around 1500 for previous batch....so U may be get sunbeam karad or next pref
