CDAC 2014 C-CAT entrance exams will be held in this year and this discussion is about your results, ranks, center preferences and even the preparation tips. You may post all your doubts, questions, feedback in this discussion by posting a reply below.

So far, CDAC centers in Pune and Hyderabad followed by Noida seem to be the top preferences of all the CDAC aspiring students. Feel free to post your rank and all your questions below. I'm sure all the test takers will help!

Hello @#-Link-Snipped-# sir,

Do you have any information, or can you please refer somebody who knows, about Inter stream placements opportunities in CDAC. I saw a list of companies hiring for DAC course and Saw Tata elxsi hiring for Medical Electronics and CDAC HPC hiring.

Now i have enrolled for DESD, and i think DeSD course is much detailed for High Performance computing than DAC. also i am from electronics background with Image processing experience so....how to apply for those companies.

Please suggest or refer.

Your ranks are really good , and u will sure got CDAC pune in whateva course u will apply ,,, bt its totally upto u and your intrest towards where u wants to be in either in embedded field or integration. please your intrest first so one can briefly answer you.

Quality Education is superb there apart all... and regarding placement Campus came there in numbers are much more than other centers but being selected is totally upon you and your knowledge.

I have done B.E. in EC branch and I have got 106 rank in (A+B+C) and got 730 rank in (A+B) and the position of mine for courses is like:

A+B+C category:
Above my rank 55 candidates have applied for PG-DVLSI.
Above my rank 93 candidates have applied for PG-DESD.

A+B category:
Above my rank 646 candidates have applied for PG-DAC.
Above my rank 329 candidates have applied for PG-DWiMC.
Above my rank 199 candidates have applied for PG-DITISS.
Above my rank 283 candidates have applied for PG-DSSD.

What I will get on these positions? Which Course is best for placement Opportunities? Will I get DAC or DWiMC in CDAC Pune (HQ) ?

I have searched a lot but I got mixed reactions some says PUNE is best for DESD, and some says Hyderabad is best for DESD.

So please sir, also tell me

AkinetFor sure hyderabad is best for this course.
from both faculty and placement point of view..?
coz I have heard the faculty is not that good in Hyderabad now.

Parul Gandhihey akinet...no doubt pune is the best in terms of packages nd placements acc. to m...bt have a little confusion b/w sunbeam pune or banglore... :-(
as mah rank is 381...
In my opinion sunbeam is far better in terms of facility and they teach every thing from root level.

hai everybody i am raviteja in cdac exam for august 2014 admission in a+b sections i got 1514 and above me 1353 candidates have applied for PG-DAC can i get seat in centers like bangalore or chenni or pune or hyderabad.
and in a+b+c i got 1226 rank and for PG-DVLSI 537 candidates have applied can i get seat in PG-DVLSI in the centers specified above.
And in a+b+c i got 1226 rank and for PG-DESD 979 candidates have applied can i get seat in PG-DVLSI in the centers specified above.Please help me anybody thank you in advance...........
