With so many unconventional launches in CES 2015, there were quite a many products which didn’t receive the attention they should have. Canon PowerShot SX530 is one of such products. Originally launched in CES 2015 in Las Vegas, the product went unnoticed then. But now, with the declaration of its launch in India, it has grabbed the attention of many, especially of those photography enthusiasts who look for an all-in-one camera which is not too costly.
Following are the features of the camera. The camera is normal sized with dimensions 120.0 x 81.7 x 91.9mm and it weighs 442 gram which is pretty light compared to Canon’s DSLR counterparts. The camera has 50x optical zoom and the most amazing news is that it comes along with 24-1200 mm zoom lens. It means that the camera is suitable for wildlife photography and long-range landscape photography. The aperture of the device is f/3.4 –f/6.5 which may seem very small but is pretty decent in introspect considering the large amount of zoom available.
The camera has a 16 MP CMOS sensor and an intelligent Image Stabilizer (IS) which will help take a stable image especially when the light isn’t very good. The LCD on the device is 7.6 cm wide. In the video department too, the camera is good choice because it can capture and play full-HD quality videos at 30 frames per second (fps).
