  • Many 'Campus Recruitment Specialists' would tell the candidates to have a 'stance' and stick to the points they've made. Many times, interviewers would put you in a difficult situation and start an argument. They'd form questions in such a way that your answers would lead to debate like situation. The interviewer would negate all the points you mention and test your ego.

If you get into such a situation, what should be your strategy?

Well, the it's quite easy. If you firmly believe that your case is 'strong' then in polite words, put forward your points briefly (don't get into the 'speech mode to appear smarter) and let the interviewer negate them or give you a general feedback about your points. In any case - AVOID arguing with the interviewer. It NEVER Works! Simply build up your defense by saying you look forward to exploring the topic. Don't let your ego take over your mind and try to prove the interviewer wrong (only in debate like situation).

Use this strategy carefully. Questions? Ask them in this thread 😀
